Religion and Insanity
by JWdaughter inrecently i have been reading a book, nearly done now, called "under the banner of heaven".
it is about some fundamental mormons (the ones who practice polygamy andwho are not accepted as lds among regular members of the slc based church.. in this book, while explaining the attempted insanity plea for a fundy lds murderer, they had several psychiatrists (both lds and non lds) explaining insanity.
the argument i thought was interesting was when the defense brought up his very unorthodox beliefs (they sounded nutty to me-and would be considered so by most lds folks also).

Overlooking. Hopefully with a great scene in front of you both, arms around each other. The smile. The touch. The simple things in life are free.

On the other hand, thinking itself seems to come with a "still, small voice" to it.

I'd say, when the idea of a blender first come up would have been the best time to get it. Then by the time the anniversary rolls around, there have been a few chances to give. Things might have blown over better that way.
At least, now, if you get into a relationship for keeps, make sure she's got a blender already then just blend in.

Genesis 3:6 would be the beginning of humankind's war for independence, which has lasted some 6000 years. And it just took 2 bites to start it all. It would have been better had they both bit their tongues instead.

Hugs and massages are always good for the spirits. It's amazing how open people can get with each other doing the free, little things like that. Whatever it takes. Fun stuff. Remember the days when the pressures weren't there. They don't have to be there if we give ourselves a time out for the ones we love.

5 For there is one God and one mediator between God and human beings, Christ Jesus, himself human,
It seems straightforward enough to me.

And so does Hugh Hefner. He's still got 20 years or so to catch up to George Burns, though.

Some insanity, it appears, is free of charge, and quite freely expressed. Others must run for their lives and their sanity or be found enabling the insane.
